What happens to tips?
If I find that there has been a federal or state crime committed, I will archive the information, alert the appropriate agency and tell them why I believe a law was broken.
In addition, I may post a help tip (with all identifying information scrubbed) publicly so other people will know how to react to situations similar to your experience.
